Where is Celebrate Virginia Located?
Celebrate Virginia is located in Fredericksburg, Va. and Stafford County, Va., part of the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The project is 35 miles south of the Washington D.C. beltway, off I-95 exit 163, located in one of the country's fastest growing regions, and positioned within 500 miles of half the population of the United States.
The 2,400 acre site is bordered by Route 17 North, Route 3 West and I-95 South and includes the Cowan Rd extension to US 1 and the soon-to-be-widened Falls Hill Ave, a direct route to Historic Downtown Fredericksburg.
The area is rich in history and boasts the second largest military park in the world, not to mention James Monroe's law office, George Washington's boyhood home, and the downtown homes of his mother and sister just to name a few local historic landmarks. Celebrate Virginia is within a one-hour drive of three major airports -Dulles International Airport, Reagan National Airport and Richmond International Airport -- served by 60 commercial airlines providing 815 flights per day.
